The German Energy Solutions Initiative, launched by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), supports providers of climate-friendly energy solutions in entering new foreign markets. RENAC acts as an implementation partner, realising and supporting numerous activities within the initiative.
The initiative drives German expertise and technologies for climate-friendly energy worldwide, opening new markets, showcasing renewable energy and efficiency as keys to competitiveness, and highlighting German companies as trusted providers of high-quality, “Made in Germany” solutions.
The programme targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in renewable energy and energy efficiency that are looking to expand their presence in international markets.
A comprehensive range of services are offered, including market research and information to identify opportunities and risks, support for market preparation, exploration, and development, assistance in establishing and strengthening business contacts abroad, activities designed to save time and costs during international market entry, and opportunities for networking and increasing visibility as trusted providers of German energy solutions.

Participation is subsidised under the EU’s de minimis rules, with companies covering their own travel expenses and a contribution based on company size.
