The second batch of the Green Banking project was developed similarly in terms of the organization and execution of online trainings, live seminars and delegation tours. The online trainings were set to give a general introduction into green energy finance topics. The in-person seminars were organized as 3-day events with a country specific in-depth training on technical and financial topics and an introduction to the MS-Excel® tool for project assessment and financial structuring. The collaboration allowed to continue the development of the “Green Finance Specialist” program, with a translation of the materials into spanish, and the development of a 2-year Master programme in collaboration with a German university. Aditional to the previous phase, there was a batch of Train-the-Trainer Seminars, for professionals who already have experience in green energy finance for an in-depth training on technical, financial and didactical topics in order to join the pool of lecturers for the “Green Finance Specialist” degree. RENAC organized delegation tours for senior staff from business development departments, who were invited to Germany (Frankfurt and Berlin) for B2B meetings, knowledge exchange with German financing experts, workshops and trainings at RENAC’s premises and site visits of outstanding RE and EE projects. |
