Algeria
Consultancy for Quality Management Supporting the Development of the PV Sector in Algeria
Algeria’s drive to expand its solar sector created a strong demand for higher quality standards across the PV value chain. To support this momentum, three focused trainings were delivered in Algiers, strengthening local expertise in component assessment, system implementation, and long-term operation while advising on future quality-labelling approaches for the national market.
In light of Algeria’s ambitions to expand its renewable energy portfolio—particularly in photovoltaic (PV) energy—there was a critical need to strengthen the enabling environment for PV deployment, as well to improved local value creation, and facilitate partnerships between Algerian and international companies. This project seeks to address these needs and plans to contribute in the building of a more sustainable solar market.

Building Bankable Green Hydrogen Projects in Kuwait
A KFAS cohort of RENAC Online Academy alumni from the Introduction to Hydrogen course deepened their expertise through a practice-oriented programme designed to turn emerging hydrogen concepts into viable project plans. Blending feasibility analysis, cost evaluation and real-world application, the training equipped participants with the skills to progress green hydrogen projects in Kuwait with greater confidence and clarity.
Despite growing global interest, many green hydrogen (GH2) projects are facing delays. The reasons are often gaps in technical planning, economic assessment, or financial aspects. As hydrogen moves from a niche application to a mainstream energy solution, the ability to develop bankable, well-prepared projects is becoming critical. The training “Green Hydrogen project feasibility and financing: Practical program” was designed to address this need, by equipping participants with the knowledge and tools required to assess feasibility, understand cost structures, and navigate different green hydrogen options.

Solar Technology AD Strengthens Expertise with Advanced PV & BESS Training
SolarPro advanced its workforce development goals through a specialised training series that deepened participants’ capabilities in PV system analysis, O&M practices, and battery storage integration. RENAC delivered the three hands-on programmes in Sofia, guiding engineers through practical simulations, diagnostics, and design exercises to strengthen reliable PV and BESS deployment.
The project aimed to strengthen SolarPro participants’ technical expertise in photovoltaic (PV) system design, operation and maintenance (O&M), and battery energy storage systems (BESS). By combining theory with hands-on exercises, simulations, and case studies adapted to regional conditions, the program supported Solarpro’s efforts to build local capacity in renewable energy and ensure the long-term sustainability of PV projects. Aiming to provide participants with practical and theoretical knowledge on integrating BESS with PV systems, covering design principles, sizing, operation strategies, and safety considerations to enable efficient energy management and grid stability.
