Participants will examine the needs, sources, and flows of climate finance, as well as the mechanisms and instruments that enable investment in climate mitigation and adaptation. The course also highlights the roles and contributions of key players, including international institutions, governments, and private sector actors. In addition, it introduces frameworks and tools designed to mobilise finance for climate action. Learners are encouraged to have a foundational understanding of clean energy projects, both technical and financial, before enrolling.
