ETRELA – Ampliando la educación en energía renovable en América Latina

ETRELA significa mejorar, aumentar y facilitar el acceso a la educación y capacitación en energías renovables en América Latina. Busca fortalecer la educación en energías renovables y eficiencia energética en toda América Latina y el Caribe.

El proyecto promueve un incremento sostenible de profesionales capacitados a lo largo de toda la cadena de valor de las energías renovables. ETRELA forma parte de la Iniciativa Internacional para el Clima (IKI), financiada por el gobierno alemán y liderada por OLADE (Organización Latinoamericana de Energía).

Objetivos

La misión principal del proyecto es ampliar la educación en energía renovable en América Latina mejorando la calidad de los programas de formación. Al mismo tiempo, busca aumentar el número de profesionales cualificados en estas áreas y facilitar el acceso a la educación para universidades, docentes y estudiantes de toda la región.

Grupos destinatarios

ETRELA se dirige principalmente a universidades, docentes y entrenadores que buscan actualizar sus competencias, así como a futuros profesionales en energías renovables y eficiencia energética.

Actividades

ETRELA impulsa la educación en energías renovables mediante el desarrollo de planes de estudio para diferentes carreras en este ámbito, busca apoyar a universidades con centros de formación modernos y capacitar educadores a través de programas en línea y de formación de formadores (Train-the-Trainer).
